Brother, I love you, man. I'm so happy to see you. I wish we were in the same room together so we can arm wrestle and pay rock. I mean, every time we get together, I feel like we're playing games and I appreciate the relationship, bro.

speaker-0 (01:52.376)
Absolutely. Yeah. For for the record, you know, I I think we think we're about even. But if yeah, if you arm wrestled me, I would stand no chance. I have to play smart games and and to keep me away from you physically, otherwise, yeah, you'd you destroy me. So you you're

speaker-1 (02:09.429)
Soccer, you you you beat me pretty good. You beat me pretty good in soccer. But I I got you in ping pong.

speaker-0 (02:15.182)
Bing Mong, right? Table tennis. Table tennis. Yes. Yeah, whatever that is. so excited to have you. I've been a fan and friend. just I'm just really pleased to be able to call you friend. And you've been an influence on my family, you've been influenced musically and as an individual. yeah, you know, people need they need good heroes.

Any heroes in our lives and I would happy to say that you're one of my kids' heroes. So I really appreciate this. This is really special.

speaker-1 (02:46.38)
Well, I appreciate that. And that's humbling. And I I'm just hoping that whatever I'm sharing and putting out there is just pointing people towards the savior because you know, he's the hero. He's the guy.

speaker-0 (02:57.806)
That's right. Yes. And you're good at that. So well, I like to let people tell us their story. So how did you get here? Like what what was it that that put you what what did God put you you know, in your path, in your life that got you to where you're at today to be able to do all these wonderful things?

speaker-1 (03:18.826)
So many things, so many things. Well, you notice that scripture that says that all things work for the good of those who love God. And I love God. my family, we just grew up knowing that the savior was just a part of our family and that he is the greatest gift to us from our father in heaven. And I remember, you know, waking up early in the morning sometimes and hearing my mom talking downstairs and like

And singing and I'm like, mom, like who's down there with you? Who you talking to? I I'm just talking to Jesus. Like, okay, all right, mom, you know. But it really sets the foundation for our family, a family of faith. even though we're all very different and we all even believe the gospel, have different perspectives on certain things. but what unifies us is is the savior is the gospel of of Jesus Christ. And so I'm so grateful for the faith that my parents and my ancestors had that we still carry on.

And so come from a family of eight. growing up, my mom was a vocal coach and she is just legendary. Deborah Bonner, shout out to Deborah Bonner, that's my mama. She we we whenever we'd have people over after you got done eating, she say, Okay, kids, time to sing for them, you know. Or if we go over somebody's house and we and we and we and we'd have dinner or play games and then we'd have to sing for them. But she would always say, Everybody sings, but Yahosh is our athlete. He he's not one of the singers.

And so I was not considered a singer or a performer. I was considered the athlete, which I love sports, but I really loved performance. I really love to sing. I wanted to do that with my brothers and sisters. I just didn't have the same talent. And so fast forward, junior high talent show. I tried out. I'm like, okay, I'm gonna make this. I'm gonna make this talent show. I'm gonna show everybody that I am good, that I've got this. Well, I tried out and I didn't make it.

And it was very interesting because now that I I'm in I'm in education, every junior high talent show that I've been to, we never cut anybody. If you want to sing, we're gonna create an opportunity for you to sing. Anyway, I was cut and that was so hard for me. because I just felt like paying everybody knows who my mom is. Everybody knows who my brothers and sisters are, and they all sing, and I can't even make it to get on stage. Well, my mom told a story about her faith.

speaker-1 (05:40.536)
When she was young, she she used to fight a lot. And there was this girl who was her friend who was new to the school who was getting bullied and my mom said, Okay, let's go, let's go fight these kids. And the girl's like, I can't, I can't fight these kids. My mom's like, Yeah, you can. You just grab and you sit on And the girl's like, No. My friend my best friend wouldn't like it. My mom's like, I'm the only friend you got. What you talking about? You know? And well, the girl said, I'll take you to meet my best friend on Sunday.

So that's the first time my mom went to church. My mom went to church, and this girl was in the choir. And she was singing in the choir. She had a solo. My mom said it was the most beautiful voice she'd ever heard. And she said that night she went home and she said a prayer, first real prayer she had ever said. She said, Lord, if you give me a gift like that, I will use it to serve you for forever. And I remember that story my mom tell So I was like, this is my moment. I went home and I prayed. I said, Lord, if you give me a voice.

You give me this talent, I'll use it to serve you for forever. You know, and and I remember that and I know that, you know, God is God of miracles. And even though I felt like I thought I had it, everybody else did not think I had it. but God put a passion on my heart for music and and it stayed. And I'm so grateful to say that now people actually want to hear me sing. People are actually calling, emailing, and paying me to come and perform. That's right. And I thank God for that and I and I strive my best to

keep my end of the bargain and and using my gift to to to give him the glory.

speaker-0 (07:13.048)
That's so cool. Such a great story. And I know there's a lot there. I've I've heard it in different phases and and places, but I I mean I've I've witnessed it. I've witnessed hundreds of people giving you standing ovations for what you've accomplished. And you know, the fact that that you turn to God, a lot of people they struggle, but they don't turn to God. They turn to other things in this world, they turn to other vices and

Hoping mechanisms. why why turning to God? Why was that so ingrained in you? as far as, you know, was that family culture? I mean, singing culture is huge, but why why was that so ingrained in in you and your family?

speaker-1 (07:59.618)
So they kind of go one in the same with the singing in the gospel. because my dad actually, his his mom and auntie, and and and and uncles and aunties, they had a singing group called the Bonner Singers. And they were some of the first trailblazers of gospel music in Cincinnati, Ohio. So their prayer, their praise, their music was a part of who they were. and and then my mom coming in.

And marrying my dad, that marriage, the foundation was God. The foundation was our Father in heaven and that we are his children. And as his children, guess what? He loves us, he wants to help us. So we gotta ask him. We gotta talk to him. You know, and so I'm grateful that that I had that from an early age. I know a lot of people don't, but that connection to our father in heaven, he wants to hear from us, he wants to have a relationship with us. But we just gotta talk to him. We gotta put forth the work, we gotta we gotta exercise that faith.

because who we are, we a lot of us don't know exactly who we are and our divine heritage and what we're capable of. And and God wants us to have joy, not just in the life to come, but now. He wants us to be happy now. I mean, as a father, I've really come to know that. Like my son, I have a four-year-old who is he's just so sweet when he's sweet. But when he's not, my gosh, he's throwing things, he's stomping up the stairs, he gets mad if you tell him to

Hey, Corregie, can you put that drink away? Or hey, Corregie, don't spill that. And he'll get mad. I don't like you. And he'll, you know. And so what I do is I grab him and I hold him in my arms and I kiss his forehead. Corregge, I love you. I love you. And I let him go and he runs away. But I think about my father in heaven and the things that I've done and how I make mistakes sometimes and how I'm not always following the exact path that he has for me. But his love is inescapable.

There's nothing that we've done, nothing that we will do that will separate us from the love of our father in heaven. And he's proven that with the Savior. Man, we've got a way to get back. And so I I just I'm so grateful for my role as a father and being able to understand more fully the love that my father in heaven has for me.

speaker-0 (10:17.912)
So good. You know, I I remember when you shared that on stage with us about having this love, this unconditional love for your children. So I see this a lot working with people, you know, especially business owner men, and sometimes their wives too, when they struggle with with who they are, they struggle with their true identity.

Psychology has proven over and over and over again that when you have a really strong identity, you know who you are, you're confident, you can do the things that you know you should be doing. Yeah. And spirituality, like a spiritual identity, is huge. especially for you know those who who believe in God, they I think they know that they're a child of God, they may know it like logically, logically, yeah.

But when I've drilled down and helped people with hypnotherapy and and and my coaching, I find that a lot of these men, they struggle with actually really believing it in their subconscious. Yes.

speaker-1 (11:30.85)
True for you and you and you, but how as men, we're just for some reason we just we're lonely sometimes and we just it's about you and how can I help the family? How can I help? You know, it it it we we're putting everything else first, you know, and that's that's a responsibility that we have, but we have to understand guess what? We're loved too. We we are important, and for us to be our best selves for the people that matter most, we have to know that we have value.

in the sight of our Father in heaven. And it doesn't matter really what anybody else thinks after that. What is what does God think about me? You know.

speaker-0 (12:09.12)
Exactly. So for you having you have that knowledge, but you also believe it. Like it's in your subconscious. Absolutely. It's it drives you. It's not just a thing that you're like, yeah, yeah, I believe that. It's actually fueled you. You wouldn't be doing these things. You know, based on your story. and I also love, I picked this up.

You talk about exercising. Now you you're a PE guy. You're an athletic director. You're a physical education man. Like those don't know. Like Yahosh is extremely strong. What are you like six three, six two? Like how how tall are you?

speaker-1 (12:48.558)
I appreciate that.

speaker-0 (12:52.842)
Spiritually speaking, you're like six, three, six, four. I mean, this is a big, strong, athletic guy. And so, you know, you bring this up with this exercise. how do you exercise your spiritual muscles? Like what is it that you do that connects you with God so that you're constantly being reminded of who you are? What is it that's working for you, Yosh?

speaker-1 (13:19.212)
Well, I know as believers, as Christians, we walk by faith and not by sight. And sometimes that's uncomfortable. Oof. That's uncomfortable. You know, as as I've you know, as you heard me say before, like when you're working out and you're lifting weights, you first do it, my gosh, the next day you feel that pain. Okay, then you work it out the next day. And it's you still feel the pain, but it's a little bit less. And eventually as you're working out, that pain leaves.

And when it leaves, it's it's returned with strength, you know. And I think as we exercise our faith in the Savior, as we strive to feel the influence of the Holy Ghost and say, you know, Father, like I think this is what you want me to do. I'm I'm gonna believe you. I'm gonna I'm gonna walk out here on faith, you know. And if this isn't it, show me the right way.

You know, and as you do that, you're gonna be able to recognize those promptings of the Holy Spirit. You're gonna have that constant communication with your father throughout the day. But you gotta do it. It might feel weird, it might feel uncomfortable to start, but then you start training that muscle and it just becomes a part of who you are.

speaker-0 (14:25.019)
I love that. Yeah. So it what I found with a lot of a lot of the sessions that I do, especially with men, is their confidence. Confidence is a big thing. And some overachieve to try to make up for their lack of confidence that they feel. And that confidence can be because they don't feel that may maybe that necessary that connection with God anymore.

And it it may actually be because they forgot to exercise those spiritual muscles or they're exercising them, but they're plateauing. Yeah, they're just doing the same weights every time.

speaker-1 (15:00.96)
You think about David. Remember David? Yes. my gosh, when he stepped to Goliath, man, that guy was he didn't have fear because the spirit of fear comes from the enemy. He had faith and he had belief. He had confidence. But the confidence wasn't in his own ability, it was confidence in his God. And so as we come to nurture that relationship with our Father in heaven and with Jesus Christ, as we're walking, striving to do as He would have us do, man, that confidence.

And him will lift us. And and that's that's real. That's the real. It's not the earthly confidence and accolades, but it's walking as a son of God, as a daughter of God. Man, there's there's a there's a there's a certain I don't know, spiritual feeling. It's it's palpable that that the world can't replicate. Yeah.

speaker-0 (15:54.274)
That's right. Yeah, let's talk about that. Because one of the biggest things that I see from others, I see that they're stuck in fear. They literally believe they're a child of God. They believe they have these great things to accomplish in their life, with their with their family. and money is a big part of this, but they don't want to stretch themselves or or try something because they are afraid they will fail. Or

On the other side, they may be afraid that if they're successful, what other people will think of them when they're successful? Okay. Now, as a performer, you've been on stage, you've you've been in movies, you've now your family's even writing a book. Like, talk to talk to us about maybe what you do to keep that, keep the enemy away, to keep fear away, to keep fear out of your life.

speaker-1 (16:51.458)
Yeah. So you gotta forget yourself because all of us have something that we can give to the world, have something that we can give to our family, our friends that are close to us. So if we're keeping that in mind, as I'm walking on stage, it's not about me and if I look cool and if if I sound great, it's about who am I gonna connect with? Who who what am I going to say that's going to move somebody to be more like the savior? And so when you start thinking about

How am I serving this these people? How am I giving my best self? How am I adding value? I tell my kids a lot of times, actually, one of my coaching friends had told me this. She said, I always tell my kids to show up. Coach Witt. I always tell my kids to show up and add value. Add value. So when you think about that, it's not about me and how cool. No, it's how can I help? What can I do to make this team better? What can I do to make this

Friendship better, this group better. How can I uplift this party of people, this company, this it's adding value. That's the key. Every every time I show up to something, I want to add value. And that's what I tell my children. Add value. Make sure you make a friend. Make sure you bring somebody in. Whenever you show up, add value. And then that fear is lessened. It's not it's not that you're never gonna have it. It's a part of life. Yeah. You know.

But lean on the savior, lean on our father in heaven and know that that spirit of fear is not from them. You need that sound mind and of understanding. And so add value. Show up and add value. Don't think about you. Think about what you can give and how you can add value.

speaker-0 (18:32.298)
Know if you had a framework, if you you you coach, right? You're an athletic director, like you you coach a lot, and I know you've had mentors, you've been coached by others. But if you could say here are two or three things, the most important things that have enabled you to have faith and really know that you're a child of God and get rid of the adversarial influences, which are fear and shame and doubt and

self-loathing, all these things that they're stuck in our subconscious mind if we let them. Okay. What would be two or three things? You started with add value. So I'm guessing that's a big one. What what other couple of things come to mind for you? They're like, yeah, this is a frame, this is what I live by. This is what the Yahosh lives by.

speaker-1 (19:19.064)
Well, you know, I I I studied communication studies in college. Go Bears, UNC. Yes, yes. And then I got my master's in professional communication, go T Birds, S U. communication is more than what you say, right? It's what you do, it's how you live, it's it's it's your facial expressions, your body language. Ooh, we are always communicating. And that communication is not just

Outward. It's it's like it's not just affecting those who are receiving your messages, but it's also to your brain and to your body. You know, and so I say make sure that you remember that we're always communicating. You know, show up. You gotta show up, you gotta be there, add value, and that communication, that open communication with your father in heaven in Jesus Christ, has to be continual.

So I would say those things are are huge, is just making sure that that you do those things. and again, remembering that fear, like that fear is gonna go away. The more you do it, the more you step out on faith, that fear will go away and confidence and strength will replace it. So those are a couple of things that.

speaker-0 (20:31.564)
I love it. Yeah, we could absolutely go deep in the communication. So right, we know that nonverbal cues and communication is the majority of how we speak to people. Yeah. Right. It's it's how like so you're like showing up. That's huge. So you're a performer, you you're you're, you know, obviously a professional communicator. whether you're singing or speaking or DJing, like it's so fun to watch you. So

speaker-1 (20:41.933)
Yes.

speaker-0 (20:59.04)
You know, let's talk about this principle. If if I'm a business owner and I'm wanting to grow my business and I know I need to get on stage, I need to be a performer. I really need to put myself out there, write my book, whatever it is. Okay. What what would be a couple like what would be the first thing? First thing you would tell somebody.

speaker-1 (21:18.38)
get on stage. I never get on stage without praying. There you go. Never, never. I say a prayer. I ask God to open my heart and my mind. You know, I ask him to to use me to bless the someone's life, you know, and that I might give the bet the best performance of my ability. and then I just trust him and I go out there and you gotta get people's attention. A lot of times I'll start with a song or start with a sorry story or a joke.

You gotta have an intention getter, you know. also one thing to help lessen your nervousness is preparation. Have you have you have you prepared? You know, there was a brilliant man who said that I pray like it all depends on God. And then I get up and I work like it all depends on me. So we do our part, God's gonna do his. We do our part, God's gonna do his.

And everything to the glory of God. You know, I think that's that's just the key. Tis a lot of times if our motivations aren't matched up the right way, it's hard for God to use us and it's hard for Him to help us. So make sure that motivation's in the right place. Don't get on stage without a prayer. Don't do it. And if you're stepping on stage and you forgot, say it in your mind and in your heart. Take him with you. Maya Angelo, brilliant poet, activist, public speaker, she says.

Every time I get on stage, I think about every person that's ever been kind to me, every person that's ever loved me, those who have passed, those who are currently living, my ancestors, and I say, Let's go. Come on. And I take them with me. You know, and I was just like, Whoa that's amazing. Because I think really I feel like there's another side, and and heaven is rooting for us.

And your ancestors are rooting for you. They want you to succeed. They're proud of you. You know that quote that I had in my bio. I am my ancestors' wildest dreams. They are rooting me on. They are they are so proud of me right now. And they're so grateful for their sacrifices to allow me to have what I have now. They did what they could so that I could have the opportunities that I have now. And so when I'm living, I'm not living just for me. No, no.

speaker-1 (23:43.726)
And and I can't feel guilty about being happy. I'm supposed to be happy because of their sacrifices. I want my kids to be happy and to have a good life because of my sacrifices. You know, and so a lot of times we we were, I don't want to be too successful. I don't want people think no, yeah. Care about people think what people think, what the people that sacrificed you to put you in that position. Care about what they think and see if their if their contributions to your life was worth it. Live your best life.

Give God the glory on the way.

speaker-0 (24:14.648)
So good. I wanted to get here. You just went there. Like, we need to we need to talk about ancestors. You have a really strong connection with ancestors. why? What what drove you to think about them? I think that's one like I never knew that my angelo had that idea of like, think about your ancestors, think about everybody that's ever, you know, done anything nice to or you done nice to them. Like,

That's phenomenal because when you forget yourself, you're less nervous. I know when I'm on stage, if I'm thinking about me, I get nervous. I press I mispronounce people's names. I say things wrong and I'm blah, blah, blah. Right. It's because I start to think about me. But when I care about other people and I think about them, it's easier. I never thought about thinking about my ancestors, but I'm connected with them. Like I

You know, talk about my family all the time and where my family came from. And that that's really important to me. So for you, yeah. How did you get to this point where you like you really are connected to to your ancestors? Let's talk about that.

speaker-1 (25:18.358)
Yeah, because faith in in Christ is, I believe, is what allowed my ancestors to overcome and to survive the atrocities of enslavement. You know, they believed that there would be a day where they would be free or their children would be free. And so that's why they survived. Because they believe, you know what, I'm not living for me. I'm not surviving this because I'm gonna get it one day, but I'm surviving it so that my

Children, my children's children will receive that freedom and receive that joy. And I'm going to do what I'm supposed to do. So that the at the end of the day, you know, God's going to be like, welcome home. You know, and so I think that I give a lot of reverence towards my ancestors because the hardships that they overcome. And all of us, no matter who we are, someone in your ancestry has gone through some hardships for you to have what you have now, for you to live where you live, for you to believe as you believe to worship.

As you worship, someone in your ancestry overcame something, gave up their life, lost family, so that you can have what you have now, so that I could have what I have now. I still sing a lot of the same songs that my enslaved ancestors sang. And I know it because my mom sang it and my granny sang it. And it keeps going back, you know, and so those are things that I will always remember.

And it's because of that. It it and that and that that remembering that also points me towards the savior. You know, you always gotta be careful because you could be grateful to your ancestors, but you don't wanna get to, it's just about my ancestors. No, why? What was their faith? You know, and and how does it make you a a better disciple of the savior? You know, I we always gotta bring it back to the savior and and our and our father in heaven. And I think my ancestors thinking about them and and what they overcame and

And the songs that they sang. I think music is a great amplifier of human emotion. You know, if I'm praising and I put on some good music that that shares the thoughts of my heart, it's just it's a it's a it's a praise. David and the scripture said, I will praise him with a song and a dance. You know, that's old testament. That was song and a dance back then. You know, we need to do that today. So

speaker-0 (27:34.454)
I love that. I I mean, I can't I can't interact with you without thinking about music. you guys, you and your family, you sing you sing a song, I'm a child of God. Yes. Talk to me about how important that song is. Why is that why has that become a theme for your family? I mean, my kids wear their child of God sweatshirts every day. Like some of them have taken them on their missions at college and

You know, they're they're repping the child of God, you know, theme here. But why has that been such a, you know, a great theme for your family?

speaker-1 (28:11.79)
Man, because it it dictates how we walk, how we live. When we remember that we are children of the creator, of God, that that we're his children. What does that say about our relationships around us? What does that say about this guy that just cut me off on the street? What does it say about this person who lied to me, who did me wrong? wait a minute. That's God's son, that's God's daughter. He loves them too and forgives them.

I need to forgive them. I need to love them. You know, so when we start seeing each other as children of God, as brothers and sisters, we treat each other differently. We're more willing to forgive. We're more willing to serve. There's a difference between being served by somebody because they have to and because they want to. Or because they love you. my gosh. When I'm being served by someone who loves me rather than someone who just like, here, here's this. Like it just feels different. It feels different.

My brother made that arrangement, the child of God. And when he first played it for us, we were in the studio and we just we wept. We just cried, you know, because it just rings true to our hearts. Children of God, a perfect father. He's aware of me. He's a personable God. You know, and and with that knowledge, it just it touches your heart and it makes you just grateful for every day.

speaker-0 (29:36.822)
That's true. I love it. And I love your guys' rendition of this. I I I don't want to put you on the spot, but I do want to put you on the spot. would would you feel comfortable singing some part of that song, a cappella? I mean podcast. We don't have more than time to go.

speaker-1 (29:49.534)
Man, is it as early as a vocal exercise?

speaker-0 (29:57.654)
Yeah, it's all good. I don't I shouldn't even I shouldn't even brought this up. I shouldn't have talked about

speaker-1 (30:00.686)
I'll sing a part of my my brother's my brother's my brother's verse, which I which I really love. It's not my solo, but I I love it. When I'm strong enough to jump, brave enough to pray, be worthy, son, with every step I take, tells me I am a child of God.

speaker-0 (30:29.24)
Yeah. Yeah, I love it.

speaker-1 (30:31.928)
Brave enough to sorry, so brave enough to jump, strong enough to pray. That's that that's the faith part. But I'm brave enough to jump, wise enough to pray. It's a wisdom to pray. It's a smart thing, it's a good thing. If you don't want to pray, that's the adversary. Yeah. You know? and just with every step, that's our actions. It's one thing to say I'm a child of God. It's another thing to walk like a child of God.

speaker-0 (30:59.084)
Yes. Yeah. Yeah. To bring us back to, you know, guys that are struggling, even if on the outside they're successful at business, especially like this this drive to provide and have a better life for our kids, right? Sometimes that it puts things out of balance, right? I wrote a book about it. but sometimes even it affects our marriage. I wrote another book about that, Marry and Grow Rich. and you know, the the they often come with

Not thinking that they're afraid. They're not thinking that they've got these challenges, but they do. It's very internal. And when we're done with our sessions together, I find a lot of times it's they turn closer to God because that fear is gone. That shame is removed. They've removed it because they've been able to do some of that deep work. you know, for men that are struggling out there, men that are feeling lonely, men that are feeling like,

You know, I look successful on the outside, but I'm struggling on the inside. What would you tell them? What would be maybe your last bits of, you know, wisdom here that would might reach out to to those guys?

speaker-1 (32:13.304)
So last week I got to listen to Tamu Smith speak. she's part of the Sisters in Zion and she had everybody in the audience close their eyes and she said, Anybody who's ever felt lonely, stand up. Anybody who's ever felt forgotten, stand up. And she named all of these trials and hardships.

And then she said, open your eyes. And everybody was standing because this isn't abnormal. You're not the only one. This life's journey, man, is hard. It's like a roller coaster, it's up and down, it's tough. Don't take it alone. And know that you're not alone because other people are feeling the same way. Get out of yourself. Okay, you know what? I'm struggling. What can I do for my neighbor? that's gonna be hard. What can I how can I serve my children?

Okay. a lot of times I because I'm an athletic director and I have some amazing families and students that I that I am able to interface with. And a lot of times we'll have other families and students that come that we compete against. And because I don't have a relationship with these people and I'm trying to, hey, calm the crowd down, it it can get contentious.

And it's hard and it weighs on me because I just love people. I don't I don't want the contention. I want the love. Then I get home and in my driveway, get ready to get my house. I have to sit in my driveway for a second and just say, okay, how am I gonna go in here and help Nehemiah with this homework? I'm gonna go in here and I'm gonna sing a song with Samaya. How am I gonna go and I'm gonna hug my wife? I gotta give them the best of me because right now I'm not feeling the best. How can I go serve and do something for somebody else?

And doing that actually lifts me. It doesn't add on to my burden. Helping actually helps me. So that's one thing that I would say is like, okay, I gotta take my mind off of me. What can I do to serve somebody else? I have to have action. How can I walk as a child of God in this moment? How would my father want me to act? What would he want me to do? You know, so I think asking yourself those questions and looking to serve.

They i it's a game changer.

speaker-0 (34:33.858)
So good. Man, I wish we could spend hours and hours. I mean, we'd we'd need to play something. Definitely not basketball. You'd absolutely crush.

speaker-1 (34:42.606)
No, we have to play basketball. We play soccer. You destroyed me. I need my get backs.

speaker-0 (34:47.135)
I I just gotta I'm gonna give up now. I mean it doesn't matter. It's like no way. but yeah, we'll come up with something that we both have never done and then we'll have to do that. Okay, okay. I'm not sure what that is yet, but we'll figure it out. Yeah. But man, I

speaker-1 (35:04.246)
I have shared a couple stories, but anybody listening and watching, my family has a book that's that's coming out. I want Jesus to walk with me. I brought a family. And and so it talks about our walk with Jesus. And I want Jesus to walk with me. Title is actually a spiritual that was sung by my ancestors, sung by my mom. I sing it. It's a song that's very close to our hearts. So it just talks about our our faith journey. So hopefully you can get a chance to to check check it out.

speaker-0 (35:31.608)
Yeah. Tell us what the title of that and and can they find that on Amazon?

speaker-1 (35:35.468)
Yep, I want Jesus to walk with me by the Bonnet family.

speaker-0 (35:40.184)
Please get that book. It's I I I know several have met several of the Bonner family members heard them perform. The first time I still remember the first time I heard heard you guys perform at Brigham University up there in Idaho. And your your brother sang that song and he came out. He he sang that he's like, we haven't recorded this yet. This is a new one. And he just he knocked it out of the park and you did too. Like I was like, yes, this is it. Like everybody needs to know this message, Yahosh.

Everybody needs to know it and not just think about it logically. They need to feel it in their heart. They need to feel that they are truly children of a heavenly father who loves them and it gives them confidence. so many struggle with self-worth, loneliness, depression, right? But especially men, we tend to suffer on our own. It's tend to suffer alone. Yeah. but if you can walk with Jesus and

Not we're we're never alone, are we? Amen. We're never really alone. So thanks for being such a great example of this. Listen, I know you don't you don't just play a good dad on TV. Like I've seen you in action. He is a good guy. and and you really do exemplify this Christ like love and and you have really had a huge impact on so many people. So thank you. Thank you for being here, brother. And thank you for you know emanating the the light of Christ, which you know that's your that's your real desire.
